believe.

Jesus loves you and is coming soon for His people. How long is soon? None us know for sure, but we must be ready at any moment to meet Him whether it is today or 10 years from now. Today is what we have and tomorrow is not prmised. If you feel any ounce of fear or doubt about where you are with Jesus, all you need to do is simply say yes to Him now. Say this prayer out loud:
"I need you Jesus. Please save me. I'm sorry for the life I have been living without you. I give you my life and my heart. I believe that you are the Son of God who came and died for me and I accept you as my Savior and your blood that you shed to cover my sins. I believe that you rose again on the 3rd day and are in Heaven with God the Father now. You are the Way, the Truth and the Life and I know you are coming soon. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I can receive power to live this life on Earth. I ask you to baptize me with your Spirit and with power. Thank you for this new life. Amen"
If you prayed that prayer, please let us know at friends@believe.vision so we can be praying for you. Be blessed by the tools, resources and information on both of our youtube channels and the believe. vision site. Reach out to us with any questions or prayer requests.

NOT
FORGOTTEN

God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. God didn't send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world through Him might be saved. - John 3:16-17
What does it mean to be truly "saved?" You might be asking yourself this question in the coming days and weeks as you hear contradictory teachings on this. The bible tells us in Ephesians 5:27 that Jesus is coming back for a bride (which is us) who is without spot, wrinkle, blemish or fault. It sounds like we need to be perfect and make sure we are always doing what's right to be saved right? It seems like that; however, the bible also tells us in Romans 3:10 that there is nobody who is good or righteous except for God and also in Isaiah 64:6 that even on our very best day of doing good our efforts are as filthy rags to God. He tells us in Romans 3:23 that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. In that same chapter in verse 21-22, the Apostle Paul writes that the righteousness of God without the law is manifested and that even the righteousness of God, which is faith in Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe. So there you have it, the righteousness of God is simply having faith in Jesus Christ, nothing else. The truth is nobody can be spotless and without wrinkle. It is impossible for man. It is only in trusting and relying on Jesus and His shed blood for us that we are made righteous. His blood alone makes us spotless and without wrinkle. Our best efforts are as filthy rags to the Lord and cannot save us. So what is it then? How is it that people are saved by relying on Jesus? The truth is that it is in the intention and condition of the heart. The bible tells us in Romans 10:10, that it is with the heart that man believes in Jesus, not simply a mere confession with our mouth. See, God is always after our hearts. Romans 8:27 and Jeremiah 17:10 tell us that He is always searching our hearts to see if they are for Him or not. At the end of the day, it's all about Jesus. Salvation is about Him and Him alone and believing and receiving Him and what He did for you, really accepting this in your heart. Simply coming to Him and laying it all down, giving Him your heart and your life - that's it - that's all it is. We come to Him and lay our sins down and receive forgiveness and then daily we work out our salvation by continuing to surrender to Him. This is how He can bring us without spot or wrinkle or blemish or fault to Heaven. His blood covers everything, all past, present and future sins. It doesn't mean that we should continue sinning on purpose, not at all. Remember God searches the hearts so He knows if this is real for you or not or just a game. He has grace when we mess up. We repent of our sins when we mess up and the bible tells us in 1 John 1:9 that He is faithful to forgive us and to cleanse us of this unrighteousness. When we are born again, which is another term for being saved, the bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that we are truly a new creation in Christ and that the old has passed away and that literally everything has become new. It doesnt mean that we won't struggle with things. It does mean that we surrender them to Him each and every day. It also means that our lives should be noticeably different than when we first accepted the Lord. There should be change. So in this way, you can see that we are not without struggles but we do our best, putting Jesus and His word first, and His blood covers everything. The bible tells us in Ephesians 2:8-9 that it is by grace that we are saved by faith. We don't take what He has done for us lightly though, as the bible tells us in Phiippians 2:12-13 that we work out our salvation every day with fear and trembling, surrendering ourselves to Him and His will, conscious to not sin. We resist the devil and he must flee from us, but first we must resist. It is in the resisting that the devil flees. Our old self has passed away and we walk daily in the new person resisting the temptation to sin again. This is how He can present us without spot, wrinkle, blemish or fault; not because we earned it by doing good, but because we received Him and his blood sacrifice for us, and we continue to surrender to Him every day, including when we mess up.
- Talk to Jesus every day (this is what prayer is, talking to God)
- Set aside special uninterrupted alone time with Jesus (without your phone or computer or other people around). This could be talking to Him, reading the bible, journaling, worship, or any combination of the above. The important thing is to set aside this intentional quiet alone time with Him to develop your relationship, even if it is only 10 minutes. Make sure that some of this quiet time is spent being quiet and listening to try to hear what He is saying to you.
- Read in your bible every day to feed your spirit and to renew your mind (if you don't have a bible, please let us know so we can help with that ♥
- Spend time worshipping Him by singing, dancing or playing an instrument. If you don't know any songs to listen to for worship, check out our recommends page for songs and groups we listen to. Worshipping the Lord in song is a way of drawing closer to the Lord. The bible tells us that He inhabits the praises of His people.
- Find a good church or group of believers to gather and fellowship with regularly in your area. If you can't find a good church in your area and don't know any believers to fellowship with locally, reach out to us so we can help you with that as well ♥
- Lastly, be thankful. Your life is in God's hands now. You are His child. He will direct you and establish your footsteps if you will let Him. Begin each day by surrendering to Him and asking Him to help you with all you must do that day. He will be with you and give you strength. We love you and are praying for you. Send us an email to friends@believe.vision if you have any questions.
